Research Interests
My research focuses on investigating epidemiological aspects as well as characterizing genetic and phenotypic traits of plant pathogens informative for plant disease management and monitoring. These include evaluating pathogens' features, growth, fecundity, pathogenicity, sensitivity to fungicide, and factors influencing pathogen developments such as environmental conditions, cropping system, cultural practices and chemical controls. Focus of pathogens include pathogenic fungi affecting production and quality of specialty crops (e.g., vegetables, small fruits, and tree fruits).
